Where It All Started

Lights, camera, passion! Meet your devoted lens-enthusiast, an Afro-Caribbean virtuoso of visual arts who answers to the rhythmic call of shutter clicks and rhythmic edits. A New York City transplant, roots firmly grounded in the vibrant cultures of the Caribbean, I express my rich heritage through the multifaceted lens of photography and videography.

First camera in hand, the flickering flame of my passion was ignited at a BBQ event during a gathering of alumni, paired with the vibrant diverse energy of the city. I captured soulful conversations, the joyful laughter, & precious moments ringing through the air. I felt an irresistible desire to pursue visual storytelling.

I caught the attention of a few future clients who were eager to work with me. A few years later, I have worked with entrepreneurs, social media influencers, & small business owners in order to photograph the highlights of their brands’ services & products.

My Motives

Mr. LIV, is a multidisciplinary digital artist based in New York City.

Armed with a camera, every moment becomes a narrative, each frame a dialogue between the observer and the observed.

I take delight in the moments that others may miss – the twinkle in the eyes of a laughing child, the play of smoke above a sizzling grill, the mingling hues of a sunset mirrored in a glass of punch. My Caribbean soul finds kinship in these bursts of life, color, and movement,.

Humor weaves itself effortlessly into my work, a gentle reminder not to take life too seriously. A poorly timed selfie, a mid-bite candid, or a surprise shower from an enthusiastic champagne pop – it’s the spontaneous, unexpected, and often funny moments that add a delightful layer of authenticity to my art.

I am a visual composer who plays with pixels and frames. Photography and videography aren’t just my passions, they are the channels through which I understand, interpret, and celebrate the world around me.

I am not just capturing moments, I am capturing stories – your stories, our stories, through the intimate prism of my lens.
